Your privacy and security are the
premise and bottom line of our service. This statement (hereinafter referred to
as the "Statement") will clearly inform you of our rules for the
entire process of collecting, using, storing, and sharing your personal information
during your use of the Tikoo app (hereinafter referred to as "the
App") and related short drama services, so that you can clearly understand
how to control your privacy rights. We strictly abide by the requirements of
the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and
other domestic and international laws and regulations, adhere to the principles
of "legality, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith," do not process
your personal information beyond the scope of our authority, and do our utmost
to protect your privacy and security.
This statement only covers the short
drama viewing, interaction, and related services provided by this application
based on the authorized short drama API, and does not apply to any third-party
products and services accessed or provided through this application. When using
the aforementioned third-party services, you should separately review the
independent privacy policies published by those third parties and independently
assess the risks of the services. To protect your legal rights, we recommend
that you read this statement in its entirety, paying particular attention to
the clauses highlighted in bold that involve your core privacy rights.
I. Your
Personal Information Rights List and Exercise Procedures
We fully protect your rights to inquire
about, correct, delete, withdraw authorization, and cancel your account
regarding your personal information. The following are the specific methods for
exercising each right and precautions:
(a) The
right to self-manage information and withdraw authorization
1. Personal Information Deletion: This
application does not store core personal information on your device.
Uninstalling the application will completely erase local information.
2. Authorization Permission Adjustment:
You can flexibly adjust the scope of authorization in the following three ways.
After withdrawing the corresponding authorization, we will immediately cease
the collection and processing of related personal information: ① In-app operations: Go to "My - Settings -
Permission Management" and turn off the authorization switch for the
corresponding function (such as turning off "Personalized
Recommendation" authorization); ② System
level: Modify application permissions through the phone's system settings (iOS:
Settings - Privacy and Security - Apps - Tikoo ). Please note that some service
functions (such as short drama collection and offline caching) require specific
authorization to be implemented. After withdrawing the authorization, the
corresponding function will be unavailable, but it will not affect other core
viewing services. In addition, withdrawing the authorization will not affect
the legality of our previous information processing activities based on legal
authorization.
3. Unsubscribe from Marketing Messages:
You can choose whether to receive marketing push notifications such as new
short drama releases and membership activities: ①
In-app unsubscribe: "My - Settings - Notifications - Turn off Marketing
Push Notifications"; ② System unsubscribe:
iOS Settings - Notifications - Tikoo - Turn off Allow Notifications. After
unsubscribing, we will no longer send you marketing messages, only necessary
service notifications (such as account security reminders).
(II)
Account Cancellation and Privacy Issue Feedback
1. Account Cancellation: Apply for
cancellation via "Settings - My Feedback" or by sending an email to zoinghaz@163.com
. We will verify your identity and device information before cancellation. This
process is irreversible; after cancellation, all services will be suspended and
your information will be deleted.
2. Feedback: If you have any objections
to the processing of your personal information, need to check your information
processing records, or have other privacy-related suggestions, you can submit a
request through the above-mentioned cancellation channels. We will respond
within 7 business days after verifying your identity. We will not charge any
fees for reasonable requests that comply with laws and regulations; for
duplicate submissions, requests that require significant technical resources,
or requests that are not feasible, we will explain the reasons and may refuse.
(III) The
right to access information and object to automatic decision-making
view the full content and historical updates
of this statement at any time through the "My - Settings - About Us -
Privacy Policy " page.
Automated Decision Objections: If we
make a decision that has a significant impact on your rights through automated
decision-making mechanisms such as algorithms (e.g., restricting access to
certain series based on viewing behavior, or content filtering bias caused by
personalized recommendation algorithms), you have the right to request an
explanation of the decision and apply for manual review and remedies through
feedback channels.
We generally do not charge fees for
your reasonable requests. However, for repeated requests or requests that
exceed reasonable limits, we will charge a certain cost fee based on the actual
circumstances. We may refuse requests that are unjustifiably repetitive,
require excessive technical resources (such as developing a new system or
significantly adjusting the existing management model), may infringe upon the
legitimate rights and interests of others, or are clearly not feasible.
( v )
Privacy protection during the cessation of operations
If we cease operation of this
application due to business adjustments or other reasons, we will notify you at
least 30 days in advance via in-app pop-ups, official emails, and other means.
Upon cessation of operation, we will immediately cease all activities
collecting personal information and will complete the deletion or anonymization
of all user personal information within 90 days of cessation to ensure your
privacy and security.
II.
Application Permission Request and Usage Scenarios
We apply for application permissions
following the principle of "functional necessity and least
privilege." All permissions are solely for implementing specific service
functions. You have the right to refuse authorization. Refusing authorization
will only affect the use of the corresponding function and will not affect

III. Core
Rules for the Collection and Use of Personal Information
We collect personal information solely
for the purpose of enabling service functions and ensuring service security,
and strictly limit the scope of collection, which specifically falls into the
following two categories:
(a)
Security-related information: Protecting account and service security
To prevent account theft, malicious
streaming, piracy of short drama content, and application system malfunctions,
and to ensure your viewing safety, we will collect the following information:
• Basic device information: Unique, unchangeable device
identifier, hardware serial number, MAC address, IMEI, and device model;
• Operating environment information: Login IP address,
operation logs (such as login time, logout time), network operator and type,
WIFI name;
• Security verification information: country code, system
startup time, application installation path and version number.
All the above information is
de-identified immediately after collection and is used only for account security
verification, system troubleshooting, and combating piracy. It will not be used
for any other purpose.
(ii)
Service Function Information: Optimize the viewing and interactive experience
1. Basic Viewing Services: To enable
short drama playback, progress synchronization, and history review, we will
collect your viewing behavior data, including viewing history (episode name,
playback progress, viewing time), favorites list, and historical search
keywords. This information will only be used to provide you with a
"continue watching" option, save your viewing preferences, and help
you quickly find episodes you haven't finished watching, and will not be used
for any other commercial purposes.
2. Customer Service: When you submit
complaints or inquiries (such as playback issues, account abnormalities,
permission problems, etc.) through the in-app customer service portal or email,
we may collect your name, contact information (phone number/email), and a
description of the problem to facilitate efficient handling of your issues and
feedback. If you refuse to provide the above information, we may not be able to
accurately identify your needs, affecting the efficiency of problem handling.
3. Paid Services: If you purchase paid
services such as membership subscriptions or single-episode unlocks, payment
will be completed through Apple App Store's official payment channels. We will
not directly collect your bank card number, payment password, or other
sensitive payment information. We will only obtain necessary evidence related
to the payment result (such as order number, payment time, payment amount, and
payment status) to verify the validity of the order and protect your paid
service rights (such as activating membership privileges and completing
services that have not yet been paid).
4. Ad Optimization Service: To balance
service operation costs and user experience, we will adjust the ad format
during the short drama playback intervals based on your network type
(WIFI/mobile network): video ads may be pushed in WIFI environments (to improve
the viewing experience), and image and text ads will be pushed in mobile
network environments (to save your data consumption). Only network type
information is collected during this process; no other personal information is
collected.
(III)
Special Instructions for the Use of Information
Except for the use cases explicitly
listed in this statement, if we need to use your personal information for other
purposes (such as conducting viewing preference surveys, optimizing short drama
content production, etc.), we will inform you of the purpose and scope of use
separately through an in-app pop-up, and will only use it after obtaining your
explicit consent. If you do not agree, it will not affect your normal use of
the core services of this application.
IV.
Security Management of Third-Party Cooperation and Information Flow
We strictly control the outward
transfer of personal information, cooperating only with third parties when it
is "necessary and compliant." We have established a full lifecycle
control mechanism, from cooperation access and process monitoring to exit, to
ensure the security of your personal information. Specific rules are as
follows:

Third-party SDK cooperation and information processing
To implement specific service functions
(such as video playback optimization, data analysis, and promotion
attribution), we will introduce a small number of legally qualified third-party
SDKs that comply with privacy protection standards. All SDK collaborations are
governed by formal cooperation agreements and data security and confidentiality
agreements, clearly defining the scope, purpose, and security responsibilities
of information processing. Third parties are required to process information
only within the authorized scope and are prohibited from using or disclosing it

Strict restrictions on information sharing, transfer and disclosure
1. Information Sharing: We promise not
to proactively share your personal information with any unrelated third
parties, and will only share it to a limited extent in the following legal or
authorized circumstances:
lAfter you explicitly authorize:
Necessary information will be shared with your designated third party according
to your instructions (e.g., displaying the series title to the recipient when
sharing a short drama link). The scope of the shared information and the
recipients will be clearly informed before sharing.
lLegal regulations mandate that, in
accordance with the legal documents such as inquiry letters and summonses
issued by judicial organs and administrative authorities, necessary personal
information must be provided after verifying the legality of the documents, and
the entire information transfer process must be recorded.
lEssential for protecting legitimate
rights: To prevent fraud, combat short drama piracy, and protect your or other
users' and our legitimate rights (such as personal safety, property safety, and
copyright rights), we share information within a reasonable and necessary scope
(such as providing evidence of piracy to copyright protection agencies).
lThird-party service necessity: Shared
only with authorized partners listed in this statement, and meeting the
following conditions: ① The shared information is
necessary to provide the service; ② The
information has been de-identified and cannot identify you alone or in
combination with other information; ③ The scope
of use and security responsibilities of third parties are strictly limited by
the agreement.
2. Information Transfer: We will not
transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual,
except in the following special circumstances where transfers will be made
strictly in accordance with the rules:
lYou explicitly authorize: The transfer
may be made within the scope and manner specified by you, subject to your
written or in-app confirmation. Prior to the transfer, you will be provided
with the transferee's privacy policy for your review.
lChange of Business Entity: In the event
of a change of business entity such as merger, division, acquisition,
reorganization, or bankruptcy liquidation, requiring the transfer of personal
information, we will: ① Require the transferee to
provide a written commitment to continue to comply with this statement and
relevant laws and regulations to protect your privacy rights; ②
If the transferee changes its information processing rules, it will need to
obtain your explicit consent again; ③ Inform you
of the transfer details, transferee information, and remedies through in-app
notifications, emails, etc.
3. Information Disclosure: We will
never proactively disclose your personal information, but will only disclose it
in accordance with laws and regulations under the following circumstances:

be disclosed according to laws, regulations, judicial rulings, or
administrative orders will be strictly disclosed within the required scope and

lYou explicitly authorize: upon your
voluntary application and confirmation, to publicly disclose information within
the scope and for the purposes you specify (such as publishing your viewing
reviews and attribution information). The authorized content must be clear and
specific to avoid vague authorization.
lPre-disclosure processing: For
information that can be disclosed in accordance with the law, priority will be
given to de-identification processing to ensure that it cannot identify a
specific natural person and does not contain sensitive personal information
such as ID card number or mobile phone number.
4. Exceptions to the requirement of
authorization
In accordance with relevant laws and
regulations, we may collect, share, transfer, or publicly disclose your
personal information without your authorization or consent in the following
circumstances:
lNecessary for entering into and
performing the service agreement in which you are a party (such as processing
device storage information to complete offline caching of short dramas);
lIt directly involves national security,
defense security, public safety, public health, and major public interests;
lIt directly involves the needs of
judicial procedures such as criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and
execution of judgments;
lTo protect your or other individuals'
vital legal rights, such as life, property, and reputation, and when obtaining
your consent is difficult (e.g., emergency freezing requires device information
verification if an account is discovered to have been stolen);
lProcessing personal information that
has already been publicly disclosed through legitimate news reports, government
information disclosure, and other channels, without violating public order and
good morals;
lFor statistical or academic research
that serves the public interest, and for which personal information has been
de-identified when providing research results to the public;
l Necessary for maintaining the secure and stable operation
of this application service (such as detecting and handling short drama
playback crashes, malicious attacks, and other faults);
lOther circumstances as stipulated by
laws and regulations.
V. Data
Security and Cookie Usage Instructions
(a) Use of
cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies
(such as local storage) to store your login status, viewing progress, comment
settings (font size, transparency, whether to enable/disable), language
preferences, and other information to avoid you having to repeatedly set these
parameters each time you use the service, thus improving your viewing
experience. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings: ① Manage Cookies: Access your browser settings to view,
enable, or disable cookies; ② Delete Cookies:
Manually delete stored cookies. Please note that disabling all cookies may
cause issues such as unsynchronized viewing progress, ineffective personalized
settings, and inability to maintain a logged-in status, affecting your service
experience.

Full-process data security measures
We have established a comprehensive
security system covering the entire process of information collection,
transmission, storage, use, and destruction, employing various technologies and
management measures to fully protect the security of your personal information:
lInternal Management Mechanisms: ① System Safeguards: Establish a series of systems,
such as the "Personal Information Security Management System," to
standardize information processing procedures; ②
Personnel Training: Regularly conduct privacy protection and data security
training to enhance internal personnel's awareness of privacy protection and

Supervision: Regularly conduct internal audits of personal information
processing activities to promptly identify and rectify security risks.
lSecurity Incident Response: In the
event of a security incident such as personal information leakage, unauthorized
access, or piracy of short dramas, we will immediately activate our emergency
response plan and take remedial measures (such as blocking unauthorized access,
patching vulnerabilities, and data anonymization). We will notify you within 72
hours of the incident via in-app push notifications, emails, etc., informing
you of the relevant circumstances, scope of impact, and remedial suggestions
(such as account freezing and password reset). If the incident involves
significant security risks, we will also report it to the regulatory
authorities.
lInformation storage period: We store
personal information in accordance with the principle of "necessary for
service and shortest duration", with the specific periods as follows: ① Functional information (viewing history, watchlist ,
etc.): retained until you delete the application or anonymize it immediately; ② Security information (device information, operation
logs, etc.): retained for no more than 6 months, after which it will be
automatically deleted or anonymized; ③ If
otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, it will be retained for the
stipulated period.

Protection of Special Groups and Cross-border Data Processing
(I)
Special Protection of Personal Information of Minors
We highly value the privacy protection
of minors. Minors under the age of 14 (hereinafter referred to as
"minors") must comply with the following special rules when using
this application:
1. Prerequisites for Use: Before using
this application and services, minors must read this statement and relevant
service rules under the supervision of their legal guardians, and use the
application only after obtaining the guardian's explicit consent.
2. Information Processing Restrictions:
For personal information of minors collected with the consent of their
guardians, we will only process it to the extent permitted by laws and
regulations, explicitly authorized by the guardians, or necessary to protect
the rights and interests of the minors, strictly adhering to the principle of
"minimum necessity." We will not push short dramas containing
violence, gore, pornography, horror, or other inappropriate content to minors,
nor will we proactively collect sensitive personal information such as minors'
ID numbers, home addresses, or bank card numbers.
3. Guardian's Rights: If a guardian
does not agree to a minor's use of this application or provision of personal
information, they may immediately terminate the minor's use and notify us
through the contact information published in this statement. We will assist in
deleting the relevant personal information. If you have any questions about the
processing of the minor's information, you may contact us at any time, and we
will handle and respond to your questions in a timely manner in accordance with
the law.
(II)
Cross-border Data Processing Standards
Your personal information is primarily
stored on secure servers within China. Due to the need to provide overseas
short drama viewing services (such as overseas short drama content distribution
and multi-platform account synchronization), some viewing records and
preference data related to overseas short dramas need to be transferred across
borders. In such cases, we will strictly comply with relevant laws and
regulations and take the following safeguards: ①
Advance notification: We will inform you separately via an in-app pop-up window
about the purpose, data type, destination, security risks, and safeguards for
cross-border transmission, obtaining your explicit consent before transmission;
② Security guarantee: We will use encrypted
transmission and sign standard cross-border data processing contracts to ensure
the security equivalence of data transmission and storage; ③
Regular assessment: We will regularly assess the information security
capabilities of overseas recipients to ensure they meet the agreed security
requirements.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This statement is governed by the laws
of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). Any
disputes arising from or relating to this statement shall be subject to the
jurisdiction of the People's Court at the defendant's domicile. If you are an
overseas user, you must also comply with the relevant data protection laws and
regulations of your country or region.
