Tikoo User Agreement

Welcome to the Tikoo app (hereinafter referred to as "the app") and its accompanying short drama viewing service! This agreement is a legally binding formal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "the user") and the app developer (hereinafter referred to as "we") regarding the download, installation, registration, login, and use of the app's related services.

Before using this application service, please carefully read and fully understand all the contents of this agreement, paying particular attention to the core terms highlighted in bold . These terms cover key aspects that directly affect your rights, such as licensing, limitation of liability, privacy protection, and dispute resolution. If you are under the age of 18, you must read this agreement under the guidance of your legal guardian and obtain their explicit consent before using this application service.

By using the services of this application in any way (including but not limited to downloading, installing, launching, registering, or logging in), you acknowledge that you have fully understood and voluntarily accepted all the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to any terms of this agreement, please do not use the services of this application in any form; once you begin using it, you constitute full acceptance of this agreement.

We reserve the right to revise this agreement in accordance with updates to laws and regulations, business operation needs, and iOS system service specifications. The revised agreement will be communicated to you through prominent means such as in-app pop-ups and announcements; such notification is deemed served upon publication. Your continued use of this application's services after the revised agreement takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised agreement; if you do not agree to the revisions, you should immediately cease using this application's services and cancel your account.

Chapter 1 Service Scope and Prerequisites

1.1 Core Service Content

This application provides users with core services such as online viewing, searching, saving, history synchronization, and personalized recommendations of overseas short dramas. It may also add or optimize service features (such as drama sharing) based on operational needs. The specific service content is subject to the actual presentation of this application. All short drama content within this application is legally authorized by us or our partners and is for personal, non-commercial viewing only.

1.2 Application Acquisition and Equipment Requirements

You should obtain the application installation package through official Apple App Store channels or third-party platforms explicitly authorized by us. We provide adapted versions for different iOS system versions and device models; you need to select the corresponding version to download and install based on your device. Any unofficial version of this application obtained from unauthorized channels may contain malicious programs, data leaks, or other security risks. You will be solely responsible for any device damage, information leakage, or property loss arising therefrom, and we will not bear any liability for compensation.

You need to provide your own iOS device that meets the requirements for this application to run, and have a valid network service (such as cellular data or Wi-Fi). You are responsible for any network traffic fees, device power consumption fees, and other related costs incurred while using this application's services.

1.3 Service Updates and Self-Selection

To improve service quality, fix system vulnerabilities, and adapt to iOS system updates, we may periodically upgrade the application, optimize features, or fix bugs, and will push update notifications through the App Store. You can choose whether to update to the latest version. If you refuse to update, some service functions may become unavailable, the service experience may degrade, or you may be unable to log in normally. You will be solely responsible for any consequences arising therefrom.

You have the right to decide whether to use this application service, and you may also stop using and uninstall this application at any time according to your own needs. However, you should abide by the relevant obligations of this agreement before stopping use, especially the provisions related to account security, data protection and paid services.

Chapter Two : User Rights and Code of Conduct

2.1 Core User Rights

Subject to compliance with this agreement and related rules, you have the right to use the short drama viewing and other services provided by this application normally; the right to inquire, correct, and supplement your personal account information; the right to provide opinions or suggestions on the services of this application; the right to apply for account cancellation in accordance with the provisions of this agreement; and the right to exercise the rights of inquiry, deletion, and withdrawal of consent regarding personal information in accordance with the provisions of the " Tikoo Privacy Policy".

2.2 Prohibition of Conduct

When using this application service, you must abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, public order and good morals, and the terms of this agreement, and must not engage in any illegal, irregular, or infringing behavior that harms the legitimate rights and interests of others, including but not limited to:

(1) Using unauthorized plugins, add-ons, scripts or third-party tools to interfere with the normal operation of this application or to circumvent the application's security verification, payment mechanism, advertising display rules, etc.

(2) Engaging in acts that endanger network security, including but not limited to intruding into the application server or other people's computer systems, spreading malicious programs or viruses, scanning or attacking system vulnerabilities, and forging network data packet information;

(3) Reverse engineering, decompiling, cracking, or modifying the software program, code, interface design, etc. of this application, or attempting to obtain the source code and core technology information of this application;

(4) Illegally obtain short drama content, user data, service information, etc. in this application by means of crawling, malicious caching, batch collection, etc., or edit and organize the relevant information and then disseminate and use it on a third-party platform;

(5) Publishing or disseminating illegal information, obscene or pornographic information, violent or bloody information, terrorist information, ethnic discrimination information, or false or rumor-based information within this application, or engaging in acts such as insulting or defaming others, doxing others, or infringing on others' privacy.

(6) Using this application for commercial advertising, excessive marketing, spam sending, or other behaviors that disrupt the service order;

(7) Using another person's identity information to register an account, or stealing or impersonating another person's account to use the services of this application;

(8) Other acts that violate laws and regulations, the provisions of this Agreement, or harm the legitimate rights and interests of us and other users.

2.3 Violation Handling Mechanism

If you violate the code of conduct stipulated in this agreement, we reserve the right to take disciplinary measures, depending on the severity of the violation, such as warnings, deletion of infringing content, restriction of account functions (e.g., disabling comments and favorites), account freezing, or permanent account banning. We will notify you of the results via in-app messages, emails, and other means. If you disagree with the results, you can submit an appeal through our official customer service email address ( zoinghaz@163.com ). We will verify the appeal and provide feedback within 7 business days of receiving it. If your violation is suspected of being illegal or criminal, we will retain relevant evidence and report it to the public security authorities or other relevant departments.

Three : Explanation of Paid Services and Advertising

3.1 Paid Service Rules

Some services in this app are paid services (such as membership subscriptions, single-episode mini-series unlocks, etc.). Specific paid items, prices, and service periods are subject to the information displayed within the app. When purchasing paid services, you should complete the payment through Apple's official App Store payment channels. The payment process and related responsibilities comply with Apple's Payment Service Terms and Conditions and related regulations.

Upon completion of payment, you will gain the right to use the corresponding paid services, with the service period calculated from the date of successful payment. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations or this agreement, paid services are non-refundable once purchased. If you are unable to use the paid services normally due to a malfunction of this application system, we will extend the service period accordingly based on the duration of the malfunction, or provide you with a reasonable compensation plan (such as a partial refund, complimentary membership time, etc.).

If your account is banned for violating this agreement, the paid service benefits you have purchased will be terminated, and we will not refund any fees already paid.

3.2 Agreements Related to Advertising Services

To ensure the sustainable operation of this application and optimize user experience, we may display commercial advertisements, promotional content, or third-party partner information in appropriate scenarios within the application (such as the splash screen, breaks between short videos, and sidebars on function pages). All advertising content complies with the "Internet Advertising Management Measures" and related laws and regulations, and is identifiable: paid search ads will be clearly marked with the word "Advertisement" to distinguish them from non-advertisement content; content promoting goods or services in the form of knowledge introductions, experience sharing, etc., if accompanied by purchase links, will also be clearly marked with the "Advertisement" label.

You have the right to choose how you receive advertising information: For interest-based recommendation ads, you can turn off the display of the corresponding ad type through the "Settings - Privacy & Advertising" module within this app; for push notifications containing ads, you can turn off notification permissions through the "Settings - Notifications - Tikoo " path in the iOS system. The above settings adjustments will not affect the normal use of the app's core services.

You understand and agree that we only provide a platform for displaying advertisements and are not responsible for the authenticity, legality, or validity of the advertisement content. Advertisers are solely responsible for any disputes or related liabilities arising from the advertisement content. If you find any illegal advertisements, you can report them through the "Report" function on the advertisement page or by emailing our official customer service. We will investigate and handle them promptly.

Four : Data Protection and Intellectual Property Statement

4.1 Special Agreement on Personal Information Protection

We attach great importance to the protection of your personal information and strictly abide by the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant domestic and international laws and regulations, and process your personal information in accordance with the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity and good faith.

We collect your personal information only for the necessary purposes of providing the functions of this application, including but not limited to registration information (phone number, email address, etc.), device information (iOS device model, system version, device identifier, etc.), and usage behavior data (viewing history, search history, watchlist , etc.). Before collecting your personal information, we will clearly inform you of the purpose, scope, and method of collection and obtain your explicit consent (unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations).

We have established a sound information security system, employing technologies and management measures such as encrypted transmission, anonymization, access control, and intrusion detection to protect your personal information and prevent leakage, loss, or alteration. Without your explicit authorization, we will not share your personal information with any third party other than ourselves and our affiliates, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations (such as cooperating with judicial investigations or safeguarding public interests).

This application may contain links to third-party services (such as third-party logins or advertising links). The personal information processing rules of these third-party services are determined by the respective third parties and are not related to us. When using third-party services, you should carefully read their user agreements and privacy policies to properly protect your personal information.

Tikoo Privacy Policy" published separately within this application . This policy is an integral part of this agreement and has the same legal effect as this agreement.

4.2 Data Usage Restrictions

Without our written permission, you may not, either on your own or by authorizing any third party, engage in the following activities: editing, organizing, or arranging service data or short drama content within this application and then displaying it on a third-party platform; copying or extracting service data for commercial purposes such as commercial promotion or traffic boosting; using special codes, identifiers, or other technical means to hijack the application's traffic or transfer user resources; or engaging in other activities that illegally obtain service data or infringe upon the platform's data rights.

4.3 Ownership and Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights of this application, including software programs, code, interface design, trademarks, logos, and text descriptions, belong to us; the intellectual property rights of short videos, text, images, audio, subtitles, and other content provided in this application belong to us or the relevant content providers.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-commercial right to use this application service on a single iOS device. Without our or the relevant rights holders' written authorization, you may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, crack, or commercially infringe upon any intellectual property rights or content of this application; otherwise, we will pursue your legal liability according to law.

All intellectual property rights not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved by us or the relevant rights holders. Our failure to exercise any of the aforementioned rights shall not constitute a waiver of such rights.

Five Special Provisions for the Protection of Minors

        Minors under the age of 18 must use this application service under the guidance of their legal guardian and with the guardian's explicit consent. Guardians should fulfill their guardianship responsibilities, supervise the minor's usage behavior, control the usage time, guide the minor to establish healthy internet habits, and avoid internet addiction.

        Minors should carefully fill in their personal information with the assistance of their guardians and must not disclose sensitive information such as ID card number, home address, bank card number, etc. If guardians discover that their minors have had their information leaked, their accounts stolen, or have misused the service, they can contact us through the official customer service email address for assistance.

        If a minor violates laws, regulations, or the provisions of this agreement, the minor and his/her guardian shall bear the corresponding responsibilities in accordance with the law (such as compensating for losses, eliminating the impact, etc.).

Six : Service Changes, Termination, and Risk Warnings

6.1 Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the services offered in this application based on business operational needs, legal and regulatory adjustments, or technological upgrades. If we need to suspend or terminate all or part of the services, we will notify you 30 days in advance via in-application announcements, emails, or other means, and provide a reasonable solution based on your actual usage.

If you violate this agreement, or engage in any behavior that endangers the security of this application service or infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, we have the right to terminate the service to you at any time and cancel your account without assuming any liability for compensation.

Even after the termination of services, the continuing provisions of this agreement concerning intellectual property protection, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution shall remain in effect.

6.2 Risk Warnings and Disclaimers

This application service is provided under existing technical conditions and service standards. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the stable operation of the service, but we do not guarantee that the service will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all your expectations. We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or inability to use the service normally due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, system failures, government actions, etc.), iOS system updates, third-party service anomalies, or other reasons not caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. However, we will take timely measures to restore the service and notify you to the extent possible.

You should back up any important data generated during the use of this application service yourself. You will be solely responsible for any losses caused by data loss.

We have conducted reasonable verification of the legality, authenticity, and completeness of the short drama content within this app, but we do not guarantee that all content is completely flawless. If any disputes arise due to copyright infringement or illegal activities related to the short drama content, the content provider shall bear the corresponding responsibility, and we will promptly take measures such as removal or blocking upon receiving your notification.

Chapter Seven Merchant compliance, risk control and transaction dispute management policies

7.1 Content Compliance Review and Control Policy

The platform has established and continuously optimizes a comprehensive content review and control system to strictly ensure the legality and compliance of product functions, service content, page display, and promotional materials. It comprehensively eliminates all types of illegal content, including pornography, violence, gambling, drugs, terrorism, and copyright infringement, and adapts to local regulatory standards. The core control measures are as follows:

1. Comprehensive Intelligent Review Mechanism: Adopting a dual review mode of human and intelligent review, and equipped with automated tools such as keyword filtering, it checks all content in the application, including images, videos, pages, and push notifications , and promptly intercepts, blocks, and removes various illegal content.

2. Tiered and Categorized Precise Control: Implement tiered management based on content risk level and target audience. Implement control measures such as access restrictions, age verification, and content anonymization for sensitive content to prevent the spread of illegal content and prevent the risk of inappropriate access to sensitive groups such as minors.

3. Personnel Compliance Accountability Management: Regularly conduct compliance training for relevant personnel in operations, auditing, risk control, and maintenance, clarify job responsibilities and compliance red lines, and strictly hold accountable those who cause compliance risks due to dereliction of duty or violation of regulations.

4. Compliance traceability and archiving: All risk control operation records, including content review, violation determination, and rectification, are archived and retained long-term to achieve full traceability and auditability, and to proactively cooperate with regulatory agencies and payment institutions in carrying out compliance verification and spot checks.

7.2 Transaction Fraud Monitoring and Dispute Resolution Policy

The platform has established a comprehensive and iterative system for monitoring transaction risks, combating fraud, and resolving disputes to ensure safe and fair transactions, protect users' legitimate rights and interests, and maintain the platform's normal operational order. Specific rules are as follows:

I. Transaction Fraud Risk Control and Monitoring Mechanism

1. Relying on intelligent transaction analysis models, it monitors, intelligently identifies, and issues early warnings for abnormal transactions such as short-term high-frequency, large-amount anomalies, transactions from unfamiliar devices in different locations, and batch repetitive transactions in real time, accurately intercepting fraudulent, cash-out, and order-brushing behaviors.

2. Establish a comprehensive risk control rule system, and clarify the control standards such as transaction amount, access frequency, payment risk control threshold, and equipment risk assessment; for high-risk transactions, measures such as manual review, delayed confirmation, suspension of transactions, and freezing of transaction permissions can be taken to avoid transaction risks.

3. In light of changes in industry risks, adjustments in regulatory policies, and platform operation scenarios, dynamically iterate and optimize risk control strategies to continuously ensure the effectiveness, adaptability, and compliance of the risk control system.

II. Refund and Transaction Dispute Resolution Process

1. Standardize the conditions, processing time and procedures for refund applications, and complete the review, verification and processing of user refund applications in a timely manner in accordance with the regulations.

2. Establish a fair and transparent dispute investigation and handling mechanism, and conduct dispute investigations and result determinations objectively and impartially by verifying supporting materials such as orders, payment vouchers, service logs, and operation records.

3. Archive and retain all dispute resolution records, results, and rectification plans; regularly review the causes and risk points of disputes; optimize product and service processes; and reduce the platform's dispute and complaint rates.

4. It is strictly forbidden to conceal, tamper with, forge, or destroy risk control data and transaction vouchers.

III. Determination of Responsibility and Accountability for Violations

1. The platform shall bear the corresponding legal responsibility and implement rectification and remedial measures for transaction disputes, financial losses and compliance risks caused by the platform's risk control oversight, service and operational violations; users shall bear all legal and economic responsibilities for losses and disputes caused by user fraud, violations, malicious order placement, and malicious refunds.

2. Those internal staff members who engage in fraudulent transactions, violate regulations, or neglect risk control duties will be held strictly accountable in accordance with laws and regulations, and those with serious offenses will be prosecuted.

All compliance, risk control, anti-fraud, and dispute resolution policies in this chapter will be continuously updated in accordance with laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and cooperation agreements to ensure long-term compliance and effectiveness.

Chapter VII Liability for Breach of Contract and Dispute Resolution

7.1 Liability for Breach of Contract

If you breach this agreement and cause us or any third party to suffer losses (including but not limited to economic losses, damage to reputation, and costs of legal action), you shall bear full liability for compensation.

If you suffer losses due to our intentional or gross negligence in breaching this agreement, we will bear the corresponding liability for compensation in accordance with the law.

7.2 Dispute Resolution

The interpretation, validity, and enforcement of these Terms of Service, as well as any rights and obligations arising from or related to the use of this service between members and the Company, shall be governed by and interpreted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "Hong Kong"), excluding conflict of law rules.

Any disputes or claims arising from or related to these Terms of Service or the use of this Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the people's court at the place of agreement signing for mainland-related issues, and submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, or judicial authorities of Hong Kong for Hong Kong-related issues. Both parties hereby irrevocably agree to accept exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

VIII Other Terms

        This agreement comprises the main body of this agreement, the Tikoo Privacy Policy, and other rules, announcements, and notices published within this application. In the event of any conflict between the contents of this agreement, the main body of this agreement shall prevail; matters not covered in this agreement shall be governed by the Tikoo Privacy Policy and other relevant rules.

        The headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and do not affect the actual meaning or interpretability of the terms. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
